Planting Planning

I had a few friends over for a mini seed exchange, and i believe that we gardeners are total hoarders!  Come on now, fess up…I’ve had seed packets, things i never intend on planting, for 7 or 8 years!  the funny thing was, when someone else wanted them, i said “sure, take a few, but leave me some, i might try them.”

anyway, it was a ton of fun, and i ended up getting nearly all the veggie seeds i needed, many of which i can’t find in stores, plus it saved me a bunch of cash.  we were all inspired to (almost) clear off our grow tables from all the random crap that accumulated over the winter, i swear i’ll do it soon…

I found this virginia planting guide, which really helps me visualize the planting season, especially when i’ll be using the same beds for spring and fall crops.  also hung the bee box and condo outside yesterday, since it was toasty warm.  will get some photos tomorrow.
